Feed Goals: 5 Instagram Accounts That Will Inspire You to Get a Follow-Worthy IG Account

Everybody’s into Instagram. From celebrities to foodies, to travelers, to photographers, or to any ordinary individual who are into social media has if not one, more than an IG account. Instagram’s sole purpose is to view and post photos you have randomly snapped at least daily be it the food you’re about to eat at the restaurant, a photograph you captured during your trip or a sunset you witnessed by a chance when you passed by Manila Bay. Instagram is basically telling your stories through snaps.

But there is more to having an IG account. Being an active user and posting worthy photos on your feed means attracting followers and users to like your posts. Over time, people using this application have worked hard to achieve a follow-worthy account. Because Instagram is about pleasing your followers, and fulfilling your followers’ expectations means keeping a good Instagram account. Need inspirations? Check out the list below who are worthy of the hashtag #feedgoals.

  1. A$AP Rocky – IG account: @asaprocky

I am not into hip-hop thingy but this guy’s got a dope IG account. The artwork you see in his feed is just follow-worthy. Rocky hired a digital artist named Gallardo to design and layout his IG feed with a different perspective. It depicts a series of photo collage. Most of Rocky’s images are juxtaposed against his clothes and/or logos of names. It is more of a digital mural and it just rocks!

  1. Beautiful Destinations – IG account: @beautifuldestinations

If you love traveling and photography, follow Beautiful Destinations. They posts beautiful pictures of different destinations around the world. Though they have their own photographers and videographers, they feature photos from other users who are willing to share their captured travel destinations.

  1. James Reid – IG account: @jaye.wolf

Well, yeah James Reid is one of my favorite instagrammer. In his IG account, James showcases his artistry side. From the snaps he took with girlfriend Nadine Lustre, to his travels with siblings and best buddies, hottie James Reid surely makes his feed a follow-worthy not just to his fans but also to users who are into photography and loves the works of arts. James’ IG is definitely #feedgoals!

  1. Mark Essex Javillonar – IG account: @mark_essex

Another Filipino IG user that is worth following is Mark Essex Javillonar, a pre-med student from Manila. Mark’s feed contains photos of his adventures and love for nature, and not to mention his love and expertise in photography (that makes me so jealous).

  1. Emily Wang – IG account: @emwng

If you want to have a clean-theme Instagram feed, check out writer and content creator from Los Angeles, California Emily Wang for inspiration.

Basically, the main key to achieve a follow-worthy Instagram feed is to be aesthetic. Think of a theme how you want your feed to look like. To keep your feed flow naturally, you have to use similar filters for your photos to have a consistent approach. Use apps like VSCO Cam to modify your photos (if necessary). It’s always fun to play with your account until you get to decide what your feed should look like.

Hey, don’t forget to check-out my IG Accounts (I have two BTW) and I’ve been experimenting my feed. @belleofjune for my travels and adventures and @jhayann.santos for my personal collage of photos I took spontaneously.

What’s in Your Luggage?

Are you a budget traveler? A backpacker? Traveling with luxury? What are the things you always keep inside your backpack or luggage?

As a budget traveler, I always prefer to travel lite. So I make sure I bring the best and most important stuff I can use throughout my trip. Packing your stuff is quite a job, really. You pack all the things you need and make sure you don’t forget anything. That is why making a travel checklist is very essential. And before generating your checklist, you have to be acquainted with your planned destination. What am I saying? Packing your stuff when you are traveling in a humid country is different from packing when traveling to a cold country. Check the current weather of your destination so you know what to bring or not to bring during your trip. Also, this could help you avoid getting exceeded on your allowed baggage load returning home. Sure you’ll get to have lots of those souvenirs from your trip back home. In this post, I’m sharing my own list.

  1. Travel Documents – This include your passport, air ticket or e-ticket, boarding pass, invitation letter, etc. These are your A-tickets to all of your trips especially when you’re going out of your mother country. Double check your destination because some countries require VISA when entering their land. Don’t forget to bring your Personal ID’s. If I may suggest put all your travel documents in one envelope or pocket organizer so you can keep all these in one place and for your own convenience.
  2. Reservations, Itineraries & Contact Infos – Before you leave for your trip, it is vital to write down and bring along with you important contact information of services you may need. To maximize your travel, have your itinerary on-hand, always.
  3. Money – Of course you will need to eat during your trips. And don’t forget to visit the local markets to buy some goodies to take home.
  4. Technology – This includes your phone, cameras, chargers, power banks and other useful tools you may need during your trip.
  5. Lightweight Clothing – As I have mentioned, this depends on the weather/climate of the place you’re visiting. As much as possible, pack basic, lightweight clothes. and if you’re traveling to a place with a cold climate, you may want to bring one or two sweater or jacket. Pack an extra swimsuit just in case you may want to dive into a pool or beach.
  6. Toiletry Bag – What’s in it? The basics. Toothbrush, deodorant, sunscreen, moisturizer, facial wipes, lip balm, personal feminine hygiene products (for females of course), hairbrush/comb, lotion and if you’re particular to your hair products, bring your own shampoo and conditioner. But these are available at your hotel for sure.
  7. Day Bag – This can be used in a variety of ways and help you stay comfortable and prepared. This is where I put my sunnies, purse, cellphone, lip balm, face powder and hanky.
  8. Footwear – I only bring a pair of flip-flops and a pair of comfortable shoes – sneakers or a comfy flat.

Necessities for each traveler may vary, but these are the basics that are always in my luggage. What’s inside your bag?
